Providence plans open house

To celebrate the opening of its new facilities, Providence Medical Center will host a community open house from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 27 at the hospital, 8929 Parallel Parkway.

The event will feature tours of the new Antointette Berkel Emergency Services Department, Breast Center, Intensive Care Unit and patient unit. The open house will also include health screenings, information, children’s activities, prizes and free lunch.

“We are eager to show our community how the redesign and expansion of important hospital departments is elevating the level of health care services that Providence provides,” said George Noonan, vice president of mission integration. “In partnership with generous community organizations, we are offering a valuable opportunity for individuals and families to learn about resources that promote healthier lifestyles. By creating a lively, interactive environment, we are hoping to infuse fun into the learning process.”
